Muslims feel pressured into signing French values charter

Continuing from last weeks news about protests in Islamic countries for the boycott of French products after Macron’s racist comments, the French Muslim council is scheduled to meet French President Emmanuel Macron to sign a republic values charter.

However, Macron has made it clear that France will “not give in” to the charter scheduled to be signed. In October, the President also spoke about placing “immesne pressure” on Muslim authorities, much going against the countries secularism. Media talks about how Macron indirecely singling out the faith to eliminate political Islam beliefs and religious practices.
