The United States has just hit 12 million confirmed Covid cases and the highest death toll in the world of 255,000 deaths. California now has a night-time curfew- attempt to crush the curve. The LA Times reported that the recent surge in cases is harsher than the peak in August.
Several states have imposed new precautions, like masks to be mandated, restrictions and curfews.

On the 26th of November is Thanksgiving, the largest American holiday, last year there were 26 million people who passed through airports on that day. This year, however, the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) have urged citizens to not travel or have social gatherings with family or friends due to the risk of an increase in covid cases.
